ProLon® is only intended to be done one time per month. We have not tested the safety or efficacy of more frequent use, nor have we tested combining ProLon with other prolonged fasts. The body needs a balance between the time spent in the fed state and the time spent in the fasting state. Fasting for too long, or fasting too frequently can lead to malnutrition, loss of lean body mass, decreased energy, and other side effects.
