While the NR-1 is technically time-release coated, its disintegration time is about 15-20 minutes (that is, while still in the stomach). Because of this, it’s fine to put the NR-1 in the soup, water, or an herbal tea and let it dissolve. The algal oil supplements can be cut open and squeezed onto a spoon.
