Preservatives are required in many food products to keep them stable during shipping and storage at room temperature until use. We use the minimum amount of preservatives necessary to maintain quality and freshness, and we use natural preservatives wherever possible. Nutrition labeling on each product identifies the preservatives used.
Foods in ProLon which contain preservatives include:
- L-Drink has a very small amount of potassium sorbate = to help keep the glycerol stable in liquid form in
- The L-Bars contain the natural preservatives ascorbic acid and citric acid to protect
- The olives contain the natural preservative lactic
