We encourage people to maintain adequate fluid intake while on ProLon, which has many benefits including helping to maintain bowel regularity. If you regularly take stool softeners or other medications to maintain bowel regularity, your healthcare provider may suggest you continue to do so during ProLon, as long as the preparation is calorie-free.
