I’ll be honest, the only soup I truly liked was the green pea and chive soup, the rest were kinda bad. I did finish the entire 5 days and that’s when I really felt the results of the FDM diet, I lost a total of 7 lbs which felt amazing but I was able to break some of my bad food habits (which I didn’t think was possible after 5 days!) but my vices were sugar and snacks. I always had to have a little bit of chocolate after lunch and dinner, I don’t have the craving anymore and I was snacking too much. How should the Prolon program be used?
The diet should be used for five consecutive days, after which the individual will transition on the 6th day and then resume their normal diet. The program provides a meal card that recommends how to consume the items for each day, but each day’s items can be consumed in any order you wish, as long as you only eat each day’s items during that day (do not carry them over to the next).
What are the food pathways affected by Prolon?
While there are many different signaling factors in the “nutrient-sensing pathways” involved with cellular fasting, the 3 primary nutrient-sensing pathways that ProLon and fasting down-regulate are IGF-1, mTOR, and PKA. The process is complex, and each pathway can interact with other pathways, but in general, PKA responds primarily to sugar and carbohydrates, while IGF-1 is primarily responsive to protein (and more strongly triggered by animal protein), and mTOR is triggered by IGF-1 and amino acids. What are the benefits of Intermittent Fasting?
People practice intermittent fasting for many reasons, including for weight loss and other potential health benefits. In terms of weight loss, by shortening the window of time during which food is consumed, generally fewer calories are consumed overall which can result in weight loss which varies by individual. There are also other potential health benefits associated with synchronizing the fasting window to the sleep cycle (i.e.: not eating after dinner). Is fasting healthy and safe?
Due to nature of fasting, there are common complaints associated with it including fatigue, headache, dizziness / lightheadedness, musculoskeletal pain, nausea, and difficulty with concentration during the fasting period. Complaints are mild and tolerated for most people.
ProLon ReSet is a food-based program. Any significant change in diet (including fiber intake) can contribute to changes in your gut such as bloating, cramping and gassiness, constipation or diarrhea.
Although ProLon ReSet is designed to reduce many of these risks of fasting by providing specific macro and micronutrients, because it is still a low-calorie diet, we encourage you to discuss with your healthcare provider whether the practice of fasting or the use of fasting mimicking diet is right for you. What are the results from your first Fast Bar study?
The Fast Bar study tested the effects of eating a Fast Bar at breakfast time (after a 15-hour
overnight fast), compared to either skipping breakfast or eating a standardized breakfast
bar. The study looked at blood glucose and ketone levels over the 4-hour period after
breakfast time and showed that blood glucose levels in patients eating Fast Bar were nearly
identical to blood glucose levels in patients who skipped breakfast.
Ketone levels over the 4 hours were also very similar in both groups. These results showed

How does L-Protein differ from other vegan protein powders?
Unlike other vegan protein powders, L-Protein uses peas, black beans and chickpeas as part of its overall protein composition rather than grain-based proteins like brown rice or oat powder, which helps to keep our composition lower in carbohydrates.
